Thanks to the support of the Pembrokeshire Access Group and to funding from Pembrokeshire County Council, SPARC/Planed, Texaco and the Welsh Development Agency, the first phase of an exciting new project to create a sensory garden in Saundersfoot has now been successfully completed.
Applications for grants have now been submitted for phase two, which will see the completion of the lighting, planting and seating arrangements.
Financial contributions to purchase several commemorative benches have already been received and further contributions, which are welcomed, are being co-ordinated by Mr. Donald John, on (01834) 812494.
It is hoped that the scheme will be completed for an official opening in the summer.
