Yesterday's (Thursday's) Graham Jewson Harrison- Allen Bowl semi-final clash between Carew and Lawrenny, scheduled to be played at Whitland, was postponed and will now be played at Whitland Cricket Club on Monday, July 16. Wickets will be pitched at 6 pm. The change of date was made as a mark of respect to young Carew footballer, Oliver Morgan, of Kilgetty, who died in tragic circumstances at Saundersfoot recently. Oliver's funeral service took place yesterday at Holyrood and St. Teilo's Church, Tenby, followed by interment at Tenby New Cemetery. Unfortunately, Pembrokeshire's game against the South Wales Cricket Association, scheduled to be played on Sunday, July 15, at Pembroke Dock Cricket Club, has also been postponed because of a backlog of cricket fixtures. Sunday, August 19, is being considered as a possible new date for the county fixture at Pembroke Dock.
