Potential managers in Pembrokeshire County Council have been rewarded for nine months' commitment and hard work. Twelve employees from a wide range of job roles across the organisation have successfully completed their Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 qualification in First Line Management. Their achievements were recognised at an award ceremony that took place in the authority's development centre in Pembroke Dock recently. This ILM qualification gives potential managers and existing ones the skills and knowledge to further their management careers and put theories they have learned to the test in real workplace situations. It is an internationally recognised award that highlights Pembrokeshire County Council's commitment to developing future leaders. Training and development manager David Rattenberry said: "All should be congratulated for completing and achieving this demanding qualification. "The workload and home study required to achieve this qualification is significant, especially when juggling work demands."
