Sally Lewis, sixth form pupil at Dyffryn Taf School, recently organised a dinner for Arthritis Care Wales, raising £917.85.

The ‘Wake up to Arthritis’ Campaign May 8 - 14 has been organised by the charity Arthritis Care to raise awareness that each morning millions of people wake up to the excruciating pain of arthritis. Living with constant pain and exhaustion can affect young people’s development; force people to give up work and threaten older people’s independence. Yet arthritis is overlooked and underestimated.

If you’re living with arthritis, get in touch and find out how Arthritis Care can help you to live well with the condition, at arthritiscare.org.uk/wakeup or call the Helpline on 0808 800 4050.
