As the first anniversary of the tragic and sudden passing of teenager Oliver Morgan, of Kilgetty, approaches, various events have been arranged in his memory with funds raised going into the memorial fund set up by his family in his name. The latest of these events will be held this tonight (Friday) at the Paddock Inn, Penally. The Paddock has kindly agreed to put on a Thai banquet night, with proceeds going to Ollie's Memorial Fund. All monies raised this year will be dispersed to local children's charities and sports clubs, especially with a view to supporting children in sport. The family and organising group hope to award grants towards the end of November around the time of Ollie's birthday. A Mexican night is planned for the summer and already, small donations have been made to Ollie's co-students at the Pembrokeshire College Sports Course Awards Evening held at the college recently.
