Pembroke Dock’s Memorial Park will host the finalé for the town’s Midsummer Festival on Saturday.
The park will be filled with fun and games for all ages from 12-4 pm. You’ll need to get there early if you want to book a space on one of the activity workshops though.
Swansea-based free-running group, KBAM, will be offering free-running workshops at the event and some of their best performers will be displaying their skills on special free-running equipment.
Communities First will also be offering tennis skills and drills workshops and yoga taster sessions, and local graffiti artist, Lloyd The Graffiti, will be running graffiti art workshops.
There will also be plenty of other activities throughout the day, including falconry displays, donkey rides, a climbing wall, trampolines, a bouncy castle, face painting and balloon modelling.
Compere Lionel Nutting, Loopy Lews children’s entertainers and Vibe School of Dance will be on hand to entertain visitors to the event, and there will be hot food from the Green Kettle Café and hot drinks from The Bean mobile coffee van and, of course, no summer event will be complete without an ice cream van.
Pembroke Dock Midsummer Festival is organised entirely by volunteers, with support from Pembroke Dock Town Council. If you would like to get involved in organising next year’s festival, please get in touch via the Facebook page www.facebook.com/pembrokedocksummerfestival or [email protected].
