A wonderful evening was had by all in New Hedges last Thursday. It started with a very colourful walking fancy dress parade, with children from under five, to adults, all joining in the festivities together. They were greeted at the Village Hall field by Wayne's Wacky Disco and local charity stalls, run by various organisations and friends of the village. The children were entertained by a magic show, followed by disco entertainment for the evening. A great big thank you from all the committee members goes to everyone who helped, in any way, or attended this great event. All money raised will go towards the new annex of the hall, which is currently being built. It is hoped to see everyone again when the annex is officially opened later in the year.
