It must be holiday time again! Span Arts are throwing open the doors of their HQ to host some fun packed creative workshops to brighten up the half-term holidays.
On Tuesday, February 14, skilled workshop leader Shanna will be providing a fun-filled, hands-on day workshop making homemade Valentine cards to celebrate the festival of love. Plus bedroom banner-making based on a theme of choice, from people's names to flower power! Made with UV paints, glitter and lots of bold, bright colours to brighten up their day and bedrooms! Workshops for children four-eight years run from 10 am - 12 pm and for children of eight years-plus from 2-4 pm.
On Thursday, February 16, Spacetocreate Community Arts will be running hands-on print workshops. In their playful print workshop from 10 am - 12 pm, four-eight-year-olds can print bunting with vegetables and their own unique artworks using the excitring process of mono-priting. Children eight years-plus can go along to their experiments in print workshop from 2-4 pm, and make and print windsocks using transfer priting and create their own individual works of art usng mono-printing.
Children can take home their designs. Wearing old clothes is recommended.
