The marine fuel will help fuel both Tamar class lifeboats as the voluntary lifeboat crews continue to ensure the public's safety on the Pembrokeshire coast this summer.
Alison Kavanagh from Chevron Limited commented: "Chevron's Pembroke Refinery is a longstanding supporter of the RNLI and our local lifeboat stations; this fuel donation is a direct and effective means of assistance in addition to our support of the local RNLI fund-raising committees.
"We're delighted that K. P. Thomas Fuels have joined us in supporting the RNLI with their generous offer to deliver the fuel free-of-charge to both lifeboat stations."
Kevin Longhurst, of K. P. Thomas and Son, said: "K. P. Thomas and Son are very pleased to be able to support Chevron Limited in their very generous donation of fuel to Tenby and Angle RNLI.
"We as a company feel that it is a privilege to be able to support the RNLI in all the fantastic work that they do. K. P. Thomas and Son have connections with many lifeboat personnel at Tenby, through the RNLI and fishing industries, and I'm sure that the same connections will be forged with Angle RNLI."
Kevin continued: "We feel safe for the service the RNLI supplies to Pembrokeshire and the surrounding areas. Delivering the gas oil for free is a very small token of our appreciation for the service they provide."
The RNLI is a charity that does not receive HM government funding.
Donations, of any kind, are highly appreciated by the RNLI because they ensure that the voluntary crew are able to continue their lifesaving work at sea.
