Police are advising occupants of dwellings which are fuel oil dependent to ensure any receptacle used for storage is secure.
The warning comes after a quantity of fuel oil was stolen from an insecure oil tank located in the rear garden of a dwelling in the Jeffreyston area sometime between the evening of Sunday, February 8, and the following morning.
