People living in a Pembrokeshire village calling for safer walking routes - may soon get their wish in 2026.
Frustrated villagers of Moreton, near Saundersfoot, have long been calling for public footpaths to improve safety for pedestrians.
At the recent meeting of East Williamston Community Council, county councillor for the ward Cllr Jacob Williams told members that he had requested an update on the planned footway linking Moreton to Wooden, following a query from a resident.
He was hopeful that it would take place within 2026, but had not received an update at this stage, but had been informed by the relevant council officer that he would "meet with the engineer and feed- back information to you once I have reviewed the latest position."
