A TENBY pupil's winning smile has gone on public display.

Charlotte Tebbutt from St. Teilo's School was one of the winners in a drawing competition organised by the Dental Public Health Unit at Cardiff Dental School, together with the British Dental Journal and the Designed to Smile programme.

The 11-year-old's art work will now be displayed on the front cover of the British Dental Journal during November.

It will also go up in libraries throughout Pembrokeshire

Charlotte was one of 12 winners selected from over 2,000 entries in the competition aimed at raising awareness about the importance of oral health.

Designed to Smile is a key component of the Welsh Government's national oral health improvement programme. It is being run in 1,200 schools across Wales in areas of social and economic deprivation. Over 78,000 children are taking part.
