A class of Tenby CP School around 1960. The teacher was Arthur Booker. Linda Asman comments: “This class has the distinction of being the last to sit the 11+ and go up to Greenhill Grammar School which is where the library now is. In fact, the library is in the very room where I sat the exam. I think the library occupies what was once 3B classroom and the General Science Lab. I went to form 1A in the Grammar and then the school closed and we transferred to the comprehensive in my second year.”
When you think about it, that must have been a let down to pupils who had worked hard to pass the 11+.
Among the pupils pictured are Garfield Smith, Richard Smith, Ross White, Moira Dart, Elaine Hodgeson, Valerie Evans, Pat Evans, Shirley Fish, Jane Soloman, Margaret Harrison, Jane Merrison, Linda Fish (Asman), Jane Emery, Kathleen Carswell, Carol Thomas, Christine Thomas, Phelps twin, Alison Holland, Delyth Smith, David Bleines, David Upham and Pat Currie.
