Santa Claus is coming to Pembrokeshire! But before he does, he has a magical letter for every child excitedly awaiting his annual visit.

The NSPCC's Letter from Santa fund-raising initiative is off to a tinsel-tastic start, with Santa and his elves busy preparing lots of special letters to light up children's lives this Christmas.

NSPCC community fund-raising manager Julie Richards said: "Letter from Santa is a brilliant way to add some extra sparkle to a child's Christmas. For a suggested donation of just £5, they will receive a beautifully personalised letter, flown all the way from Santa's grotto in Lapland by his trusted reindeer.

"Sadly, Christmas is not a time of celebration for every child and many less-fortunate children don't have loving adults thinking of them at this time of year. That's why we are encouraging as many parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles as possible to support Letter from Santa. Your donation will help us create a safer, happier Christmas for thousands of vulnerable children who so desperately need our support."

Also on offer is a Baby's First Christmas Letter from Santa, which is the perfect keepsake for newborns celebrating their first festive season.

Letters can be ordered online up until December 19 and everyone who places an order this year will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win the trip of a lifetime for their family to Lapland thanks to the generosity of lastminute.com.
