Friends of the Community were delighted with the resounding success of their coffee morning held on Saturday and wish to express their gratitude for the magnificent sum of £330 which was raised.
All the usual attractions were available and the cake stall did a brisk trade. Once again the raffle was well supported and among the winners were Mrs. Johnson, Miss Webb, Miss Owen, Mrs. Crockford, Miss Morris, Mrs. Aston, Mrs. Paley, Mrs. Smith, Miss Ellison, Mrs. Page and Mrs. Hodges.
Chairman Roland Grigg thanked everyone, supporters and workers alike. Also Mr. Butland for the milk and Eric Bradforth for posters.
He remarked upon the wonderful number of the friends who came for coffee and pointed out that the £330 will be a great help in the continued effort to supply much needed equipment for local people being nursed at home.
Once again kind people of Tenby, thank you for being with us last Saturday.
