The Friends of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery will be holding an Art Auction at St. Johns Church Hall, Warren Street, Tenby, on Friday, October 28. The pictures can be viewed on the Friday from 9 am - 1 pm or 6.45 - 7.30 pm on the night, with the auction starting at 7.30 pm.

One of the artists work included in the auction will be Brian Froud, known around the world for his iconic paintings of the Faerie Realm. His internationally bestselling books include Faeries (with Alan Lee), Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairy Book (with Monty Python’s Terry Jones), Good Faeries/Bad Faeries, and Brian Froud’s World of Faerie. His most recent books, Trolls and Faeries’ Tales, are collaborations with his wife Wendy.

Brian is also a film designer, best known for his work on the classic children’s films The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth (with Jim Henson). He has exhibited in museums and galleries the world over and received numerous distinctions, including the Hugo, Chesley, Inkpot, World Fantasy, and American Society of Illustrator’s awards.

Other artists whose work will be included will be David Bellamy, Naomi Tydeman, Mark Raggett, Gwilym Pritchard, Claudia Williams, Guy Manning, Linda Thompson, Harry Gardiner, Monica Groves, Alec Lewis and many more.
