On a recent sunny, summery morning, a party of Friends travelled to Carmarthen for an 'in depth' tour of the museum there. This proved to be very interesting, with many unusual artefacts on display. After the tour, the coach went on to Aberglasney where the group took advantage of the beautiful weather and lunched outside beside the lake. The gardens looked lovely, with bluebells in full bloom in the wood. Many of the Friends also made purchases from the plant sale which was on and the coach travelled back with many bags and packages. No doubt the Tenby gardens will be more colourful this year when all the purchases come into bloom. It was a tired, but happy group which arrived in Tenby in time for tea. The 100 Club draw for May has taken place. First prize was taken by Mrs. Woodward, with her ticket number eight, and second prize went to Mr. Galvin with ticket number 22. Congratulations to both members. If you would like to join the Friends, support the museum and take part in the 100 Club, please contact Mrs. M. Day on 844633.
