Another game, another 40 plus points as the Otters continue to steamroller their way over all comers with their fast paced 15 man style of rugby.
This time Rumney were at the receiving end of a 43-13 drubbing at the Lewis Lloyd, with Narberth's six tries helping them maintain pole position at the head of National League division one.
Narberth opened the scoring with Simon Daniel penalty, but Rumney started to make inroads into Otters territory through the industry of their hard working pack and quick thinking half backs Glyn Welsh and Tom Price.
It brought them within range of Price's boots and the pivot punished two Narberth misdemeanours in quick succession to edge the visitors into the lead.
After Daniel just shaved the uprights, Otters centres Andrew Bowen and Elgan Vittle took matters in hand and, with their almost telepathic understanding started to make inroads in midfield.
Launching one of his typical barnstorming runs Bowen split the Rumney defence and found Vittle timing his supporting run to perfection to touch down near the posts.
Daniel made light work of the conversion and also added the extras when he and Bowen combined to given the industrious centre a try of his own.
Although the stand-off missed with a three pointer just before the break, Narberth were still in a confident position 17-6 ahead going into the change around.
With the visitors reduced to 14 men following the yellow carding of lock Gavin Lucas shortly after the oranges, Narberth took full advantage, number eight Gareth Bennett picking up his fifth try of the season with a typically well executed peal from the base of the scrum.
Daniel again added the extras before the visitors hit back with an unconverted try from replacement wing Matthew Woods.
With Jason Jennings dominating the lines out to give the Otters platform ball, the homesters started to play even more adventurous rugby going into the final quarter.
Wing Nick Jones picked up a brace of tries in quick succession, the first when Andrew Howells sent through a perfectly judged pass on the break and the second when he rounded off a superb passage of play that started within the Otters 22.
Replacement hooker Kevin Davies and hard grafting skipper Simon Davies were involved in a looping attack before Daniel ghosted through the Rumney cover to send Jones over from the half way line.
Daniels converted both, and then added the final nail in Rumney's coffin when he added the extras to a well taken try by the pacy Daniel Gravelle following good work by Adrian Killa.
Match sponsor was Dr. Roy Davies, of Narberth, while the ball sponsors were Heather and John Howell, of Narberth.
Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the much anticipated derby clash with old rivals Whitland at the Lewis Lloyd.
