Town centres in Pembrokeshire are to receive a Christmas parking boost.

Pembrokeshire County Council has agreed to offer free parking in all its council-run car parks on every weekend in December (including Saturday, November 30).

The free weekend parking is designed to support town centres by encouraging people to shop locally over Christmas.

Clr. Rob Lewis, cabinet member for highways and planning, said: "We are once again offering free parking in December to assist town centre traders. We want to support them as much as possible over the Christmas shopping period."
