The RNLI Sea Safety Roadshow will be at the Saundersfoot Harbour Festival this Sunday (July 3) and will be offering free safety checks on any lifejackets that are brought along.

“Your lifejacket can be a life-saver, but you need the peace of mind that it will work OK - bring yours along to our trailer and we can check them in a few minutes and show you the simple maintenance required to keep them in working condition,” says the RNLI’s Sea Safety Team.

The roadshow will also be offering informal advice on calling for help methods - VHF radios, distress flares, personal locator beacons, EPIRBs etc., with a relevance to everyone who goes to sea.

So whether you own a kayak, dinghy or cruiser, motor or sail, you will receive a warm welcome. The roadshow will be on the harbour car park and open from 10.30 am - 4 pm.
