There will be a series of free gardening courses run across the county of Pembrokeshire by the Welsh College of Horticulture in association with Pembrokeshire College.
The course Start Gardening covers a wide range of topics including pruning, planting and propagation, and is a great course for both the beginner and the enthusiastic gardener.
These courses will be run in Haverfordwest, and Pembroke Dock on September 20 for 12 weeks, at 6.30 in the evening. They are taught by local professionals, and lead to a nationally recognised qualification.
There are other short gardening courses available in the area, for details of courses and enrolment please phone the Welsh College of Horticulture on 0800 0749133.
These courses are provided by the college to increase enthusiasm for gardening and to help all those who want to tackle their garden, but do not feel confident enough, former students have thoroughly enjoyed attending the classes and have found them fun and informative.
