'A successful year for the charity in Pembroke Dock.' That's the verdict of Pembrokeshire Frame at the end of its first year of trading in the southern half of the county. The charity, which supports people with mental ill health or learning difficulties, opened a pre-used furniture showroom in the town last April and it has proved a big hit with local people. Co-ordinator Daniel Sims says he is pleased with the support the Pembroke Dock showroom has received over the past twelve months. "We've had a fantastic year and we're really looking forward to doing even better next year. The showroom stocks a big range of good quality, pre- used furniture. Our low prices mean that people on very low incomes are able to furnish and equip their homes without breaking the bank." The showroom, at Unit 17, Kingswood Industrial Estate, London Road, Pembroke Dock is open from 10 am - 4 pm Mondays to Fridays. As well as furniture, it also stocks a wide range of reasonably priced, pre-used home accessories and bric-a-brac. The charity also has a showroom and workshops in Johnston, where it is based, and a shop in Haverfordwest. Pembrokeshire Frame Limited is a registered charity and as such is a non-profit making organisation. It is run by a board of directors with expertise from various walks of life and by a team of paid and volunteer staff.
