Tenby's inshore lifeboat was requested to launch at 1.30 pm on Monday after Milford Haven Coastguard received information that a person was injured near Monkstone Point.

The male casualty was soon located and identified with a dislocated shoulder. He was made comfortable by the volunteer lifeboat crew and conveyed on board the lifeboat to Saundersfoot and passed into the care of Tenby coastguard rescue team and ambulance personnel.

On passage back to Tenby, the ILB was requested by milford haven coastguard to proceed to a position one-mile east of Tenby to a speedboat with engine failure. The vessel with one person on board was taken in tow to Saundersfoot.The ILB then returned to station.

After only five minutes back at Tenby, the lifeboat was requested to proceed to a position between Waterwynch and Monkstone Point where two persons were stranded on rocks. The two males had been cut off by the fast incoming tide. They were taken on board the lifeboat back to Tenby Harbour.

The fourth call came at 5.05 pm when the inshore lifeboat was tasked to an area between Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth where again persons had been reported cut off. This time two females were recovered from the rocks and landed at Saundersfoot.
