Former Tenby resident Peter Winks, who used to reside at Pantiles, Narberth Road, will be back in the town on Wednesday, hoping to catch up with old friends and colleagues on his return.

Peter emigrated to Australia aged 16, during the sixties, after spending his childhood in Tenby and Penally. His parents will be remembered as one time owners of the Candy Restaurant.

Now at the age of 55, he is visiting Tenby briefly, and hoping to meet as many friends as he can, as friend Michael Westerman, of North Beach View, 7 The Croft, explains: "Peter has a successful life in Sydney, Australia, where I located him some eight years ago, and have met him each year since, at various locations within Sydney.

"He will be at the Lion Hotel on Wednesday, October 26, from 7.30 pm, at the Stage Door. If you remember Peter, please do call in, if only for old times sake, as it is unlikely he will return to Tenby again," added Michael.
