Christmas is a time for reunions and former Narberth Rugby Club players will be able to get together tomorrow (Saturday), when the Narberth RFC Former Players' Association holds a reunion prior to the Division One (West) league fixture at home to Dunvant.

Speaking about the reunion, former second row forward and current association treasurer, Peter Spacey, said: "At the time the date was arranged, we did not know that we would be home next Saturday in the SWALEC Welsh Cup, so the fixture against Dunvant was chosen.

"It will be the last home league fixture before Christmas. All former players of the club will be most welcome to attend the clubhouse from 12.30 pm each time we hold a pre-match reunion.

"At the reunion, members can enjoy a complimentary pre-match buffet and drink, but more importantly, renew old friendships, enjoy some reminiscing and the opportunity to catch up on personal news.

"Membership of the Narberth Former Players Association continues to grow and new members have been astonished at the excellent value for money arrangements. After the initial membership fee of £15, the subsequent annual fee is reduced to £10.

"Members receive a distinctive association tie and an invitation to attend at least two reunions per season."

Any former player who has not joined should contact former Narberth hooker Tony Davies on (01437) 764953.
