Professor Peacock, advisor to UK and overseas government bodies and industrial companies, is an expert in aerospace science and thermodynamics.
Researching and designing gas turbines, however, is not the Professor's only interest.
Visiting to Narberth, the worldwide speaker passionately shared about his life changing faith in Jesus Christ.
During childhood, Roy Peacock had links with the church, this was more a ritual than a relationship with God.
"Religion is what happened on Sundays, although I had a general belief in God, that's as far as it went," shared the Professor.
Growing up, he focused more on science, the church got pushed aside and before long Professor Peacock became a staunch atheist.
Working as a scientist in Cambridge, he, with wife Elizabeth, surprisingly found himself caught up in a visiting Christian mission.
"I was very sceptical at first, but I couldn't deny the changes that took place in my wife when she became a believer. I began questioning God's existence," he said.
The man of science spent days thinking of scientific ways to disprove God's existence.
He continued: "Finally, late one night, I was in bed, unable to sleep. I had what can only be called a revelation: I saw a vision, and heard the voice of God speaking to me. Now for somebody who didn't even believe in the existence of God to hear an audible voice, I knew this was real!
"Within 18 hours I had committed my life to the God whom I didn't even know, not knowing where it was going to take me.
"In the moment of commitment, I realised that not only was God real, but he showered me with the most amazing sense of peace and fulfilment. I felt joy inexpressible and a sense of destiny. Unsure of what it all meant, I knew my life had been changed fundamentally; it's stayed that way ever since."
This life-changing experience did not turn the Professor away from science.
When encountering God's works, such as physical healing without any medical intervention, he uses a scientific approach.
Recognising the event as new data, he examines the circumstances, studies the Bible and other sources, to find what Jesus did and can do; analysing any patterns or trends. Using his scientific skills he considers the works of God.
"The more I look the more the evidence I discovers of God's reality and the amazing ways he works in the world today," he shared.
Professor Peacock's message to the people of Pembrokeshire is this: "I want you to know God is real, he has the whole world in his hands. God loves me and spoke to me. God loves each one of you and wants to speak to you too. My eyes and ears were closed, but now they are open. You too could have your ears and eyes opened and meet God for yourselves today. He can be known in Jesus Christ."
