I refer to Mr. Griffiths's letter in the July 26 edition regarding the Gatehouse re-development scheme.

The approved plans for the development include footway improvement works to both footways on White Lion Street, including widening and improved access for all users, together with carriageway and junction improvements to White Lion Street/The Norton. The scheme also includes a new public square.

The developers worked closely with the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority to design a scheme that situated the building on the site to facilitate these improvements whilst also enabling the replication of the original building as far as practicable on the corner of the Norton and White Lion Street.
