IT doesn't seem like three months ago since Saundersfoot Footlights presented their spectacular production of 'Pirates of Penzance', but it is, and they are now preparing for their Christmas show. In a slight departure from usual, instead of a pantomime, this year's production will be that ever popular show 'The Wizard of OZ'. This will include all the favourite characters and songs we know so well. Auditions will be held at the Further Education Centre, Saundersfoot on Wednesday, September 14, at 7 pm, and Sunday, September 18, at 2 pm, for all ages (as long as you will be seven-years-old by December 1, 2005). The director, Helen Wright, says that you never know what you can do until you try and Helen is sure that there are people out there who could fly 'Over the Rainbow' if they use their 'Brain', 'Followed their Heart' and plucked up the 'Courage' to go along. So come on everyone, 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road' to Saundersfoot and join in the fun. You will be made very welcome whether you want to act, make scenery, costumes etc. - or only want to make the tea!
