SAUNDERSFOOT Footlights' musical production for Whitsun, the ever popular 'My Fair Lady' by Lerner and Loewe, is in the final couple of weeks rehearsal and stage preparation for the 40-plus cast and crew. The show opens at the Regency Hall in Saundersfoot on Monday, May 26, and runs up to and including Saturday, May 31.

David Owen, the director of the musical, describes 'My Fair Lady' as: "A classic example of shows that are a joy to perform and a treat to watch. The story of Eliza, the Cockney flower-girl, and Henry Higgins, the autocratic speech expert, has intrigued and delighted millions of playgoers worldwide. The story line is strong with good dialogue, and the songs and chorus numbers tuneful and captivating."

Tickets for 'My Fair Lady' are £5 (£3 for OAPs and school-children), and will be available at Evans Newsagents, Saundersfoot, Reohorn Amusements, Dimond Street, Pembroke Dock and at the Regency Hall from 6.45 pm on performance nights from Monday to Friday, and from 1.15 for the Saturday matinee performance on May 31.

Sunshine or rain, there's a treat in store for you at the Regency Hall at Whitsun. Don't miss it!
