New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Carmarthenshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cafe Cath at 10 Bridge Street, Penygroes, Llanelli; rated on September 6

• Rated 5: The Teapot at 11 Market Precinct, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire; rated on September 4

• Rated 5: The Tin Works at Jewson The Old Tin Works, Priory Street, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire; rated on August 23

• Rated 5: WERNDALE PRIVATE HOSPITAL at Bancyfelin, Carmarthen; rated on August 14

• Rated 5: Ystradowen Community Centre - Caffi Henllys at Ystradowen Day Club, 38 New Road, Ystradowen, Swansea; rated on August 9

• Rated 3: South Star Cafe at South Star Hotel, 2 Brynallt Terrace, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire; rated on July 27
