Members and friends of Lamphey Church like to enjoy their food while they are fund-raising.

Last month, members of the Lamphey Craft Group hosted a successful Curry Evening in Lamphey Church Hall.

The event raised over £300 for church funds.

In March and April, home-made soups will be on offer every Thursday lunchtime during Lent in the church hall, and next month look out for an entertaining evening with 'Fanny and Johny' on April 23 in Lamphey Village Hall.

It will feature a cookery demonstration by Cynthia Richards, complemented with floral works of art by Adrian Cooke.

There will be a buffet and glass of wine included in the price of the tickets, which will be available from Judith Colley.
