One of Pembrokeshire's longest-serving Scouting leaders has finally hung up her woggle.
Mo Crockford, of Tenby, who has worked with the movement in the town for 44 years, has reluctantly decided to retire.
"I've enjoyed every minute - all the activities, camps, hikes and fun - but I couldn't have done it for so long without the help and support of many people, particularly all the parents who have lent so many willing hands," she said this week.
"It would be wonderful if someone could come forward to keep Scouting going in Tenby, as we have an excellent base at the Scout and Guide Hall and loads of equipment."
Mo has been honoured with Scouting's Silver Acorn for exemplary service and a 40-year long service medal.
But her true reward has been to share so many happy times with many hundreds of youngsters.
She added: "It's been a privilege to have been involved - albeit in a small way - with so many young people's lives.
"To everyone who has been connected with the 1st Tenby Sea Scout Group over the years, thank you for all the adventures and friendship."
