David Jones, CEO of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum and N.A.R.C. secretary, said: “The continued support from Folly Farm is crucial in helping us keep the underwater world in Pembrokeshire clean. Our conservation partnership helps us not only charter boats and fund clean-ups, but also raises awareness of the problems to thousands of locals and visitors who visit Folly Farm annually. Quite simply, we couldn’t carry out our work on an issue that is often, out of sight and out of mind, without the support of our funders. Together we are removing marine litter and releasing entangled wildlife.”
Tim Morphew, Folly Farm’s zoo curator, added: “We have such a rich, diverse ecosystem around our beautiful coastline and conservation is at the heart of what we do here at Folly Farm, so anything we can do to aid the N.A.R.C. team in their efforts we will.”
