Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo has been named as the fourth best rated zoo in the UK in the Travellers' Choice TM awards for Zoos and Aquariums, announced by TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site. The Pembrokeshire zoo is also named 13th best rated zoo in Europe. Tim Morphew, manager of Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, said: "We are delighted to be named fourth best zoo in the UK based on comments from visitors on TripAdvisor. We can only hope to continue to provide our visitors with the best experience possible." It's not just Pembrokeshire that has cause to celebrate this year; the awards reveal that the UK is home to more award-winning zoos in 2014 than any other European country, with eight zoos ranked in Europe's top 25. The UK also boasts three winners among the world's top 25 - second only to the US, which claims the most world winners with nine. Nebraska's Henry Doorly Zoo in the United States earns the coveted position of number one zoo in the world.
