Go starry-eyed at Stackpole this Christmas as the National Trust hosts a festive event with a difference on Friday, December 2. Visitors are invited to explore the magic of the night sky and follow the iconic story of the Christmas star.

The conservation charity is teaming up with Dark Sky Wales for the special event which will also include an on-site planetarium, a craft making session and starlight trail, along with the chance to stargaze using professional telescopes.

Open to all ages, the illuminating event will take place between 4 and 8 pm. Tickets are £8 per adult, £6 per child and £22 per family, with pre-booking essential via 01646 661359. Refreshments will also be available on the night.

Other festive activities you can enjoy with the National Trust this winter include: Southwood Farm Christmas Fair (December 10, 10.30 am - 4 pm, free), a traditional 1500s Christmas at the Tudor Merchant’s House in Tenby (11 am - 3 pm, normal admission charges apply) and Stackpole’s Festive Fun Run (December 18, 10.15 am, free).
