Youngsters at a Pembrokeshire primary school welcomed the Welsh Fair Trade flag to their school this week.
The flag, which commemorates Wales becoming the first Fair Trade nation in the world, is currently on a six-month tour of the country.
It stopped off at Monkton Priory Community School in Pembroke last Thursday to be welcomed by the school's very own Fair Trade group, who hosted a Fair Trade coffee morning supported by the Co-operative.
Jane Davidson, Welsh Minister for Sustainability and Housing, also paid a visit to the school to meet youngsters, who have been learning about fair trade for the past six months.
James Roach-John, co-ordinator of Monkton Communities First - part of the Co-operative's Communities First Team - is working with the school's Fair Trade group and Fair Trade Wales, to register the school as a Fair Trade School.
"The pupils have been looking at issues relating to fair trade and hoping to encourage their families, friends and the school to support the fair trade movement," he said.
"As well as learning about ethical issues, it also teaches the youngsters about the world around them and their place in it."
