The founder of Shalom House - Margaret Burnett - recently said a special thank you to all who had contributed to the success of the Flower Festival and Concert held at the Presbyterian Chapel, St. David's.

At a lunch at the Bush Inn, Robeston Wathen, she thanked Barclays Bank for its support for the event, which raised £4,000, and she also expressed appreciation for the additional £500 presented by Phil Thompson on behalf of Chevron Refinery, Pembroke.

Margaret said the event would not have been a success without the participation of the choirs, the support of the chapel, and the work of Freda Griffiths, Adrian and the flower arrangers, Shalom fundraisers from all over the county, and Marilyn Salmon and her helpers.
