Tenby Coastguard Rescue team and the town's all-weather RNLI lifeboat investigated a report of a flare sighted east of the resort shortly after 10 pm on Thursday. The area was thoroughly searched by the lifeboat and local businesses and people in the area were interviewed. Nothing untoward was reported and it was believed to be Chinese lantern.
