Tenby United had their fourth away league game of the season cancelled when the adverse weather conditions over the weekend resulted in an early morning call from the Gorseinon fixture secretary to Keith Walker, fixture secretary of Tenby. This was followed by the usual flurry of calls to players, increased this week as both Firsts and Seconds were scheduled to travel west.

With cancelled games against Pontardulais and Penclawdd already slotted in to blank Saturdays, Gorseinon along with Trimsaran now require agreed dates.

"As they survived until the round five of the WRU Challenge Cup, agreeing a mutual date with Gorseinon will be quite a challenge," said Walker. "The situation is not helped as we have been drawn with Aberystwyth away in the Pembrokeshire Texaco Cup, a game that needs to be played by March 31."
