Fishguard Sea Cadets have received a boost from the The Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant funding.

At this month’s meeting of Pembrokeshire County Council’s Cabinet, members considered applications for funding through the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Large Grant Applications.

The Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant supports local community projects via a portion of the charges raised through the second homes premium.

The Cadets sought £50,000 of £70,000 to secure the land that adjoins its unit to provide safer, more organised outdoor training, and a secure storage area.
