Tenby Harbour was packed to the gills on Sunday with 'Music and Mayhem'.

Thousands of people visited the annual Pembrokeshire Fish Week fun day on one of the hottest days of the year.

National fish craftsman Duncan Lucas gave expert demonstrations on fish filleting, while local chef Tom Hunt presented popular fish and shellfish demonstrations with tasters and other recipe ideas.

Visitors enjoyed a fish and shellfish barbecue, live music from Pembrokeshire schools' jazz band, street theatre and circus skills.

Families joined in a variety of games on the beach, with frisbee, beach assault course, volleyball, a surf simulator and much more.

Fish Week continues until July 3 - and it's not too late to jump in and enjoy.

Bring the family to Saundersfoot harbour tomorrow (Saturday), from 11 am, for a seaside barbecue with live music from the Celtic Saints band, and a foraging safari on the beach.

Enjoy a seashore picnic and foraging at Freshwater West beach tomorrow from 12 noon with Café Mor. Taste Welsh classics such as laver bread with cockles and bacon and fresh local shellfish, learn how to forage for edible sea plants and explore the shoreline and rockpools.

Also tomorrow is a family-friendly beachcomb from 1 pm in 'Secrets of the shore' at Tenby's South and Castle beaches. The event is organised by Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, with environmental games to follow. Meet at the National Park Centre, Tenby.

Or why not join in the new 'Stackpole Estate events' with the National Trust on Sunday, July 3, from 10 am.

Create a masterpiece in the sand and sculpture challenge at Barafundle beach, pick up a family activity pack and set off for an adventure around the Bosherston Lily Ponds, or take an invigorating boat trip out to sea!

Pembrokeshire Fish Week is organised by Pembrokeshire County Council. The festival is part funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013, which is financed by the EU and the Welsh Government.
