Pembrokeshire Fish Week got off to a fin-tastic start at the weekend.
Thousands of people attended the opening day of the seriously fishy festival at Milford Fish Docks on Saturday.
Among the visitors to the 13th annual event were the chairman and vice-chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Arwyn Williams and Clr. Tom Richards.
Highlights included fish and shellfish demonstrations and workshops with chefs, Tim Maddams and Angela Gray, as well as a demonstration on the art of filleting by Nick Bryant.
Fish lovers were able to browse through a huge variety of over 100 food, produce and craft stalls - including plenty of tasting opportunities - while younger visitors could take part in craft and graffiti workshops, follow a treasure trail or have their faces painted!
The live music stage featured a host of local bands headlined by Paper Aeroplanes. There were also exhibitions and displays of street dance and magic.
"We've yet to count the exact number of people who thronged to Milford Fish Docks on Saturday, but it certainly matched last year's total of over 12,000," said Kate Morgan, food officer for Pembrokeshire County Council.
"We had a blowy, windy start, but once the rain stopped and the Lions finished playing everybody came out to enjoy themselves.
"There was loads going on for people of all ages and everybody seemed to be really enjoying themselves. It was buzzing."
The fun continued on Sunday with a host of events across the county, including Tenby Harbour.
This year, the popular week-long festival, which ends on Sunday is as jam-packed as ever with more than 200 activity and eating out options for families, foodies, beach lovers outdoor enthusiasts and anglers alike.
