In four of the last five years, I have stocked my patio fish pond in the spring and each year, around mid-October, the fish have all disappeared overnight.

Clr. Trevor Hallett was of the opinion that the culprits were the pair of otters that are residing on the Ritic, but there was no evidence to support this.

Now thanks to the photographic evidence supplied by Mr. and Mrs. Gourlay, the predators are positively identified.

Now I know who has had an expensive banquet at my expense each year!
