The first of the 104 new homes being built in Narberth have been released onto the market.

Persimmon Homes West Wales has started work on the new properties at Greenfields off Jesse Road, close to the town’s police station.

Househunters are now able to choose from a selection of two, three and four-bedroom houses to buy off-plan. The first residents are expected to move in during the spring.

The first phase will consist of 41 properties, followed by a second phase of 63 units.

The first releases are being sold from Persimmon’s Martello Park development, off Buttermilk Lane in Pembroke

Sharon Robinson, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: “We are delighted to launch this fantastic new development in Narberth.

“We have a really exciting range of properties with something to suit everyone, from two-bed starter homes, to spacious four-beds for larger families.

“The site is close to Canaston Woods, which is perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding.

“Fifteen miles away is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with rugged scenery and sandy beaches.

“We look forward to showing people the options we have available.”

There is also a great choice of primary and secondary schools nearby, as well as sports facilities, a swimming pool, restaurants and a live music venue.

Some of the house types currently on offer include The Alnwick, The Hanbury and The Chedworth.

Prices start at £134,995. First time buyers are eligible to use the Government’s Help to Buy - Wales scheme, which means purchasers may only need a deposit of five per cent. The Government steps in with a 20 per cent equity loan, leaving a 75 per cent mortgage.
