In spite of the snowy conditions, representatives in public and voluntary services in Pembrokeshire came together on Friday to take part in a major forward planning event.
Local service board partners Pembrokeshire County Council, Hywel Dda Health Board, Dyfed Powys Police and the Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS) staged the event at the Bridge Innovation Centre in Pembroke Dock, for an audience of representatives of organisations from community and voluntary sector organisations and county councillors.
The purpose of the day was to raise awareness of the Pembrokeshire Local Service Board role in leading change and improvement in local public services, as well as providing attendees with the opportunity to give their feedback on the Draft Single Plan for Pembrokeshire 2013 - 2018.
The draft single plan describes the issues that are important to Pembrokeshire and identifies the approach that a range of organisations will adopt in attempting to tackle them.
The single integrated plan is for everyone who lives in, visits or has an interest in Pembrokeshire.
The main priority areas outlined in the plan are: children and families, economy, environment, health and well-being, safeguarding, safety.
If you were unable to attend the event because of the poor weather conditions, or would like to provide your own feedback on the plan, further information available at http://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay">www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay
