Last Sunday saw the first disability football festival for the Pembrokeshire Disability FA. Hosted at Crundale, and organised by disability officer Sian Bowen, and members of the association committee, the festival was played out with entrants from Ceredigion, Swansea and Pembrokeshire. The festival was arranged as a conclusion to a year, which has included regular monthly coaching sessions, delivered by coaches from accredited clubs, Kilgetty and Clarbeston Road. The weather was warm and sunny, and it exactly matched the atmosphere that these players and spectators brought to the day. The football was a good standard, and played in the true spirit of the sport. Following the presentation at the end of the games, the committee provided a barbecue which was thoroughly appreciated by all. The teams were Pembrokeshire squad, Cleddau Warriors, Ceredigion C and D, and Swansea based Bravehearts A, B and C.
