Due to industrial action there is likely to be disruption to First Cymru Services across Pembrokeshire from tomorrow (Thursday, October 30)...

Disruption to services is likely on the following dates - Thursday, October 30 to Saturday, November 1; and Wednesday, November 5 to Saturday, November 8.

The following services may be affected: 302, 322, 356, 349, 381.

A spokesperson for First Bus said: “We are disappointed for our customers to be told today that our above-inflation pay offer we made to our colleagues, including drivers, has been rejected, and that they will now face disruption.

“This will result in strikes that will lead to significant disruption to First Bus services across south and west Wales, from Thursday 30 October to Sunday 2 November inclusive.

“Throughout this extensive negotiation process, we have listened to Unite the Union member feedback and made several offers to try to settle this dispute and ensure customers who rely on our services are not affected by strike action.

“Unfortunately, rather than work with us to find a resolution, Unite the Union has decided to press ahead with strikes, affecting our customers. Our door remains open to negotiation.

“We have also been informed by the union that they are planning further strikes between 5 November and 8 November. We are liaising with the union and will provide further updates as we approach these additional dates.”
