First cuckoo?

Tenby resident, Mr. Bob Lowe, has heard the cuckoo calling in the town.

Mr. Lowe, of Kendora, Park Road, contacted the Observer on Monday to report that he had heard the cuckoo whilst walking his dog near the golf links early on Sunday morning.

"There it was sitting on the roof of Black Rock Cottage cuckooing away," Mr. Lowe said.
