Sir, My wife has family living in Cornwall and we always try to go the time the fireworks contest is held in Plymouth Sound in August. I ask Chris Allen if Westcoast Fireworks are doing a display in the contest and then we go among thousands of spectators in every vantage point around Plymouth Sound that night. The contest is held over two nights and every vantage point is full each night. There are pleasure cruisers full of spectators and these are booked nearly a year in advance. If the fireworks contest to be held on the Haven waterway can match that, it will bring a lot of people and business to the area when the contest is held. The benefits are huge to the local economy.
