Pembrokeshire Cancer Support received an amazing donation this week from Peter Jennings, the 'marathon running fireman', of Blue Watch, Pembroke Dock Fire Station.
Peter ran the New York Marathon on November 2 in an excellent time of three hours and 31 minutes.
Said Lyn Neville, of Pembrokeshire Cancer Support: "We were amazed when Peter turned up at the charity office in Pembroke Dock with a cheque for £2,016.90 and an engine full of firemen! Peter also raised more funds for the firefighters charity.
"At the support centre, we need to install new fire doors and Peter was very pleased that his donation will help with fire safety, and much more. We very much appreciate all Peter has done for us."
